Rizal Program Opens Morong Branch. Rizal Program opened its 5th branch in the Municipality of Morong last June 2018. The branch office is located at Marciano Bldg., #90 T. Claudio St. in Barangay Maybangcal.

UPLIFT Scholarship Assistance Program - Batch 1. The 1st batch of scholars under the UPLIFT Scholarship Assistance Program (USAP) attended an orientation seminar, together with their parents, held last May 30, 2018 at the UPLIFT Training Room in Burke Bldg., Binondo, Manila. The nine scholars also received their scholarship grants during the event.

UPLiFT General Assembly 2018. This year's General Assembly was held last May 28 at the Presidents Room of the Manila Polo Club in Makati City. First on the agenda was the presentation of the organizationís financial and operational accomplishments, followed by an election of officers and members for the BOT.

All sitting officers and members were re-elected, with Mr. Edouard Miailhe still the President, Mr. Juan Miguel Montinola as Vice President and Mr. Edgardo Garcia as Treasurer.

Joint Trainings for UPLiFT Partners & Staff (Batch 2). Cluster leaders from CAMANAVA, Manila and Quezon City Programs attended a Cluster Leadership Training last April 12, 2018, facilitated by CBDS Manager Flor Cachola, at Overlook Resort and Conference Center in Taktak Road, Antipolo City.
With Zumba Instructor Concepcion Benjamin leading the ZUMBA Dance for UPLIFT Health is Wealth Program last April 13, 2018, attended by Cluster Leaders coming from NCR Program together personnel from UPLIFT Operations and Support Department.
During the Health Awareness Training facilitated by Nutritionist Michelle Medina from Antipolo Health Department.

Joint Trainings for UPLiFT Partners & Staff (Batch 1). Forty-one UPLiFT LDOs coming from different programs attended an Account Management Training from March 15-16, 2018, facilitated by Executive Director Edmon Sison held at Overlook Resort and Conference Center in Taktak Road, Antipolo City.
A parallel session on Cluster Leadership Training was also conducted, attended by Cluster Leaders from Rizal and was facilitated by OM Miguel Sano and CBDS Manager Flor Cachola.
The UPLiFT Health is Wealth Program was launched during the last day With Zumba Instructor Concepcion Benjamin leading the ZUMBA Dance.

22 Partners Graduate from STAR Program. UPLiFT, in coordination with TESDA and Coca-Cola Philippines, conducted the Sari-Sari Store Training and Access to Resources (STAR) Program, in Quezon City Program Area Office last October 2017. The STAR Program aims to economically empower the target women beneficiaries by providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude that will transform them into becoming better and successful entrepreneurs. The target beneficiaries of the Program were Partners who own or operate Sari-Sari Stores, Bakery and Karinderya. They underwent free Basic Entrepreneurship Training and Gender Sensitivity Training for four (4) hours a week or equivalent to forty-eight (48) hours for the duration of 12 weeks. The program started last November 2017 and ended March 2018. Twenty two (22) partners were able to graduate last March 2, 2018.

Christmas Party 2017. Last year's Christmas Party was held at the Tamayo's Villa Immaculada in Intramuros, Manila last December 15. The theme of the event was "Pasko ng Dekada 70s at 80s!", and all came in groovy outfits and danced to the boogie. It was also during the event that the outstanding performances of individuals and groups in the organization were given recognition. To spice-up the evening, a Choral Singing Competition was held among UPLiFT's nine Program Areas.
