The heavy flooding in the month of August 2026 brought about by powerful typhoons and prolonged rains from the southwest monsoon (Habagat) greatly affected communities across Central and Northern Luzon. UPLiFT immediately mobilized its Head Offices to bring essential relief goods and support to its valued Partners in these devastated areas.
In Bataan, relief operations were carried out by the Dinalupihan Branch Office on September 7-8. Meanwhile, the Lubao Branch carried out their relief distributions on September 7-9. The activity was successfully implemented through the effort of the Branch staff and their Area Manager.
Over in Bulacan, UPLiFT’s relief efforts, headed by its Area Manager with the support of the staff from the Bulacan branches, began early on September 4 in Bocaue and Hagonoy. The team returned on September 7 to ensure they reached the rest of the partners who were not accomodated during their previous visit.
In Pangasinan, relief operations were given in two separate dates, reaching affected areas where four Branches operate. On September 4 and 7, aid was distributed to Partners from the Branches of Bayambang, Ligao, Mangaldan, and San Carlos. Each Branch team worked closely to deliver supplies personally to their affected Partners, ensuring wide-reaching support across the province.
Our Tarlac program also reached out to those affected by the heavy flooding, bringing relief to Partners from the Branches in Tarlac City and in Paniqui. The mission was led by the Area Manager, alongside committed staff members from both branches, embodying the unity and care that defines our UPLiFT Community.
