UPLiFT, in collaboration with Bagosphere, officially launched the Path-to-Growth Training Program with its 1st Batch of participants last April 23–25, 2025 at Raven Resort in Abucay, Bataan. This training was carefully contextualized to support UPLiFT’s senior Livelihood Development Officers (LDOs) with the primary goal of improving engagement, reducing attrition, and strengthening the organization’s foundation for sustainable growth. The training for the 2nd Batch and the 3rd Batch were conducted at the same venue in June 4-6 and June 18-20, respectively.
Mr. Jemuel Caro (Left) and Mr. Matthew Cabato (Right), both from Bagosphere facilitated the 3-day Training for all the batches. Bagosphere is a human capability school founded in 2012, taking inspiration from the bago tree found in Bago City, Negros Occidental, where its journey began. It empowers frontline workers, such as Livelihood Development Officers, with skills, confidence, and sense of purpose needed for them to thrive both personally and professionally.
Over the course of three days, participants engaged in interactive and reflective activities aimed at enhancing communication, building resilience, and unlocking individual potential. The training also fostered collaboration and self-discovery, equipping LDOs with practical strategies to navigate diverse client profiles and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission.
Beyond the structured sessions and guided facilitation, the training blossomed into a space of shared wisdom. Participants not only absorbed valuable insights from the facilitators but also found inspiration in one another’s stories, strategies, and lived experiences. Through open dialogue, heartfelt exchanges, and mutual encouragement, the group cultivated a deep sense of connection—reminding everyone that growth is not only personal, but also powerfully communal.
