UPLiFT upholds its commitment to promote a healthy lifestyle among its Partners by organizing a “Health Awareness Program and Zumba Plus” activity in the different Program Areas it operates. The kick-off event was held in Rizal province last September 14, 2023 at the San Juan Gym in the municipality of Taytay.
To start the program, representatives from the Health Education and Promotion/Communication Management Unit (HEP/CMU) of the DOH Center for Health Development CaLaBaRZon presented their Healthy Pilipinas campaign, focusing on the importance of diet and physical activity, including the 7 Healthy Habits Para Sa Healthy Pilipinas. This was followed by the much anticipated Zumba Plus where participants danced their way to a healthier body!
This activity will be conducted continuosly in the other UPLiFT Program areas in the following months.
